At Taylor Dawson Designs, my philosophy is that interior design is not simply about creating a beautiful space, but also about capturing the essence of the people who will occupy it. I take the time to get to know my clients in order to understand their style, needs, and personality. Working together, we select the perfect colors, textures, and furnishings to make their vision a reality. My services go beyond the design itself, as I manage every aspect of the project from conception to completion.

There is nothing better than the look on a client's face when they see their design brought to life. It can be so difficult for them to envision everything and I love being able to do that for them.
For all my life, I've been intrigued by the world of interior design, focusing all efforts and time possible to it. Since beginning this journey, I have gained my diploma, worked in all venues in the industry, discovered the value in quality products, and built valuable relationships with clients and industry professionals. Working along with some of the best designers, contractors, trade professionals, retail stores, wholesalers, and artisans from not only the Kingston area, but cities from across the country, has given us a diverse view on design and confidence in all of our team members. We focus on creating spaces to reflect your personal taste, and put emphasis on design which ensures true authenticity. Of Course, we never look past functionality either, because an unorganized space can be overwhelming and draining.
As a mother of two I am a true believer in everything having it's place. I also believe that you shouldn't have to sacrifice having beautiful quality items just because you have children or pets. Let's be honest though, it's not just our kids and pets we have to worry about...I've definitely been known to spill a little. There are a ton of stain guards, washable and durable surface options out there that allow you to not worry.
Throughout my career, I have learned that the best way to create a quality design is to cater to the specific requests of my clients, and to go out of my way to make sure that the work I do is a reflection of their own tastes and preferences.
