A study in warmth, texture and quiet detail, organic and calming, without ever feeling flat. Natura began with a complete rethink of the ensuite’s layout. The original bathroom had a small shower, an oversized unused bathtub and a vanity that wasn’t making the most of the space.
We removed the bathtub, relocated the toilet and used its former location to create a much larger barrier-free walk-in shower. That one decision unlocked the entire room. It allowed us to extend the custom vanity and storage, improve the sightlines and make every square foot work harder.
The shower became a defining feature, with muted green tile laid in a crosshatch pattern and an arched glass detail that softens the space. Travertine-look porcelain continues from the bathroom floor into the shower, bench and niche, creating warmth and continuity. Mitred tile edges and travertine pencil trim keep the finish clean without introducing harsh metal profiles.
The natural stone countertop brings creams, taupes and subtle black details into the palette, while custom cabinetry incorporates double sinks, a docking drawer, integrated laundry hamper, pull-outs and concealed storage.Arched mirrors echo the shower glass, mixed black and bronze finishes create a more collected feel, and vertical heated towel bars add a thoughtful detail that’s as functional as it is beautiful.
What we love most about Natura is that the transformation isn’t simply aesthetic. A more challenging layout change gave the homeowners a larger shower, significantly more storage and a room that functions completely differently.
The beauty came from there. Organic. Warm. Textural. Quietly luxurious, and designed to work just as beautifully as it looks.
