This basement was reimagined as a luxury rental suite with thoughtful design in every corner. Creamy white cabinetry, gold fixtures, and a curved island top create an elegant, cohesive kitchen and laundry space, with a wallpaper mural adding the illusion of a sunset in the windowless room. A structural post was cleverly integrated into the island, turning it into a vintage-inspired art feature. In the bathroom, an angled wall, concave blue tile, arched mirrors, and a custom alcove add architectural interest and charm. The bedroom features deep blue-grey walls with a square moulding detail for subtle drama, plus built-in sconces and a walk-in closet behind the bed wall. The living area includes a sleek fireplace, curated furniture with vintage flair, and a connected dining space defined by a round marble dining table and statement lighting. Even the home’s main laundry room was updated to blend seamlessly, with new finishes that respect its original wood cabinetry. Bold yet balanced, this suite is a refined retreat with personality.
