Since we have entered a new decade, why not start a blog for Taylor Dawson Designs? I have so many ideas and topics to discuss with you and have thought to myself I should be putting them out there. Over the next few months we will be discussing what is trending in 2020 and how you can incorporate these looks into your home or business.
For those of you who don’t know me I’m an established interior designer residing in Kingston ON. I have a passion for all things design and love exploring all things new and creative to this industry. Whether its through working on clients homes, DIY, trade shows or travelling I am always on the hunt for something! When I’m not designing I’m spending time with my amazingly supportive husband and charismatic 2-year-old daughter.
What can a Designer do for you?
A lot of people say to me “you’re a designer? Oh, that must be so much fun!” They aren’t wrong, it is an amazing career and I wouldn’t choose anything else. However, people often forget it’s still a job, which comes with its highs and lows. Often, designers are also thought of as expensive or that they’re going to push their own style on you and I will agree that sometimes this is the case. Have you ever researched what a well-qualified interior designer can actually do for you?
TIPS:
- If you have no idea where to start, I will point you in the right direction by organizing your thoughts and devising a plan. This will acutally SAVE YOU MONEY AND TIME!
- Your space will not only look beautiful but it will also function for the way you live.
- You will get ideas that you may never have even thought of before which you could choose to execute yourself and/or with my help!
- You will have better resources and contacts
